Texas Rangers Off To An Even Start

The Texas Rangers are off to an even start this year with a 3-3 record, winning their most recent game by a score of 2-1 against the Toronto Blue Jays. Although the record may not seem exciting, they have found much joy in their new young pitching prospects,  who seem to be fitting into the organization just fine.

These new pitchers include Dane Dunning, Brett de Geus and Wes Benjamin and they will certainly be leading the way for the organization for many years to come.

You may or may not have been aware of the Spring Training battle between Nate Lowe and Ronald Guzmán, but these two players have had a hot start to the season. Despite the competition between these two they have both been performing surprisingly well and feeding off of each other’s energy.  In fact they have started to become some of the main sluggers for the team including the farthest home run distances and highest exit velocities for the team so far. This includes a top distance of 426 feet by Guzmán! This seems to only be the beginning for these two and we highly anticipate further development of their potential.

The Texas Rangers organization has also become more popular in recent days with their actions in the stands rather than their play on the field. The Rangers have been one of the first teams to fully welcome back fans into the stadium with no limited capacity whatsoever. This is in part to the removal of restrictions in the state of Texas as a whole. It has a lot of people excited and makes everyone want to return to their home stadiums as soon as possible. We hope you found this article helpful and we look forward to bringing you more Rangers news later on in the season.
